🔒 Our Privacy Pledge: We do not sell your personal data. All resumes and career profiles are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and anonymized during AI inference.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Email address, hashed password, and optional full name.
- Resume & Career Data: Uploaded resume files (PDF/DOCX/TXT), parsed work history, skills, and diagnostic outputs.
- Job Preferences: Target job descriptions, search queries, and match history.
- Billing Information: Stripe customer IDs and transaction identifiers. We do not store raw credit card details on our servers.
2. How We Process & Protect Your Data
Your data is processed strictly to provide career optimization services:
- Encryption at Rest: Resumes and contact information are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
- PII Scrubbing: Personally Identifiable Information (names, telephone numbers, emails) is automatically masked prior to AI evaluation engine processing.
- Sub-processors: We utilize trusted infrastructure providers including Stripe (payments), Infomaniak (transactional email), and LiteLLM AI inference endpoints operating under strict confidentiality.
3. GDPR & CCPA Self-Serve Rights
Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California), you possess the following self-serve rights directly in your Account Settings:
- Right to Access & Portability: Export your complete account profile, resumes, and scoring history via our 1-click Download My Data JSON tool.
- Right to Erasure ("Forget Me"): Permanently wipe your account, resumes, job history, and personal references via our self-serve deletion tool.
- Right to Rectification: Edit or overwrite your stored CV and profile settings anytime.
4. Data Retention
We retain your career data only for as long as your account remains open. When you initiate an account deletion, all personal data is purged immediately.
